Yeah, I think Meta Knight's cooler than Shadow just because he has that sense of honor. Kind of weird to analyze a video game character that way, but whatever. I think the reason for that is because Marth was standing near the Subspace portal. Meta Knight must have figured that since Marth was so close to it, then he must have come out of it, and he therefore would've been a member of the Subspace Army.
