Well anyways I was on an editing hiatus and I decide to visit the ol'wiki again. I've been reading topics on the Watercooler about rebellion, and I also found petitions in talk pages and user blocks. How long were you gone again? Cuz you may or may not have missed 6 edit wars, 5 user blocks, 2 colorful language users, too many joke pages to count, 2 change in statuses of the [[SmashWiki:Requests for adminship|sysop registration]] and a partridge in a pear tree. But really most of those things happened. And that freakin' bird wouldn't shut up, so I shot it and told my True Love to get me the 6 maids-a-milking. Now that had to be one of the worst attempts at being funny I have ever seen. And strangely I still laughed. Likewise lets just say that the Smashwiki is currently going through a "Soap Opera" phase with many debates going on. I'll admit it: Oxico, that was hilarious! Well, as for what you've missed, ItemHazard, I'll explain: A user by the name of RJM has banned about 5 Users, most of them from the [Cult of Personality]]. Several Users, including myself, are against this. A few days ago, RJM tried to ban 2 Users named Zmario and Cafinator for "unspecified reasons". Charitwo later unbanned the 2. Currently, the remaining members of the CoP still on SmashWiki are unofficially working on this problem. I'm assisting them as their researcher, according to the current highest ranking member of the Cult not banned from SmashWiki, [[User:Ike6481|Ike6481]]. That pretty much sums up what you have missed. Whatever I '''''generally''''' missed, as this was specific, Oxico covered in his message above. :RJM? You mean Randy? Yeah, I've heard complaints and flaws about him. But I'm pretty sure he had a reason to ban them both. Sysops have the right to ban without telling the user the reason why. But GalaxiaD and Kperfekt... Unexpected. <_< I haven't had any conflict with Randall yet, so I'm going to '''try''' and stay on his good side. Also, hi Oxico, Hatake, and MarioGalaxy. ::Sorry, I don't recall you telling us how long you've been on this Wiki, other than the hiatus. Well, I'm pretty sure Randall banned Kperfekt for insults because he banned GalaxiaD. Rumors are that he banned GalaxiaD for insulting him (or something among those lines) on another website (most likely another Wiki), which he isn't allowed to do. He banned GalaxiaD infinitely from this Wiki, although Clarinet Hawk recently (I think today) shortened it to a month. GalaxiaD and one of his friends (not gonna say who) impersonated Randall00 on my Proboards website and Randall scolded them for it and they started an argument ending in BANNING. BTW, I was a somewhat  of a spearhead of the Cult of Personality but quit for...somewhat obvious reasons. But I still associate myself with them, they be my buddies. But yeah, the wiki has suffered from drama and LOTS of vandalism, and average of at least one joke page again and 3 bad edits daily.. Almost ALL from IP adresses. That is why I wanted to be sysop...but then like 100 people nominated themselves at the same time and then the flood caused the process to stop and my adminship....DELAYED. --[[User:Oxico|Oxico]] ([[User talk:Oxico|talk]]) 02:02, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Amycats! I remember I beated your Lucas challenge ;]. I just went to the proboards site and saw alot of useless topics. Some of our smashwiki users are in there? Hehe... Aren't you already a sysop Oxi? I knew that alot of people nominated themselves for adminship, but Clarinet Hawk cancelled everyone's nomination since it was basically a popularity contest... No I ain't a sysop. I thought I was a shoe in after more than a year and a half of service. I actually have more edits than some of the sysops. The proboards was ours to just chat on. I deleted almost all the topics to symbolize my quitting of the crew. I kept a few of the more....useful ones. EVERYONE on the Proboards was a smashwiki user. Most of them are banned for some reason now. But on my adminship, it was before 3 of the 8 people who commented were my friends. No comment on the OP other than that (though I hate "omg i is back yay me!" messages). For my ''better'' take on what happened, have a look through the messages at the bottom of [[user talk:silverdragon706#Enough is Enough|FyreNWater]]'s talk page. Although a bit of the stuff that happened initially were a little harsh, I agree with Randall with the first few bannings and their subsequent extensions.
