Controls test is a stage which, as the name implies, is a basic stage which allows players to test their custom controls. As such, it cannot be used in Versus mode. It also shares a similarity with Custom stage tests, in that only Mario is the only character that can be used on it.

Layout

Controls test stage consists solely of one grounded platform, using the same texture as the Online Practice Stage and two blank walls at either side, which can be wall jumped from. This also means that the blast lines at either side are completely inaccessible. It is unknown if there is a ceiling blocking the upper blast line, as without hacking, only one player may be here at one time, and Mario does not have any moves capable of damaging himself.
