Charizard (リザードン, Rizādon, Lizardon in Japanese language versions) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl in a sense; it is one of three Pokémon that can be played when you select Pokémon Trainer from the game's character select screen, the other two being Squirtle and Ivysaur. Like Pit and Meta Knight, Charizard is able to glide.
