Dr. Wily's Castle, also known as Skull Castle, is a stage set to appear in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U from the Mega Man series. It takes place in front of Dr. Wily's Castle as depicted in Mega Man 2. The recurring Yellow Devil boss from the Mega Man games also appears on this stage as a stage hazard/boss, exploding whenever players do enough damage to it and using its strategy from the Megaman games as an attack method.

Overview

The main body of the stage is a flat body which fighters cannot go underneath, à la Yoshi's Story and Summit. There are two floating platforms at either side of the stage, suspended beyond the body of the stage. After a while, a rail, like the one from Mega Man 2's Crash Man stage, will appear around the left platform, in a square figure-eight shape. The platform will presumably move around this rail. There may be more than one possible rail configuration.

At times, parts of the Yellow Devil will ascend from the background, then descend and reassemble on the stage. When the Yellow Devil is formed, it will attack the players until defeated. Any damage caused to the Yellow Devil's eye will eventually cause its destruction and explode. The explosion will count as an attack for the player who landed the final blow.

  The Yellow Devil is defeated, and explodes. The fighter who dealt the finishing blow is immune to the explosion's damage and knock back.
