m (There's also no difference between lying to the left or right. I'll fix all this stuff)
(Now I'm even more confused, I saw Bowser do one floor attack at around 140% but then do the other one at 150%. I don't know how this works.)

Donkey Kong using his floor recovery in Smash 64.
Falco using his floor recovery in Melee.
Marth using his floor recovery when tripped in Brawl.

A floor attack, commonly known as a getup attack, and referred to as DownAttackU and DownAttackD (depending on which side the character is laying on) internally in Brawl files, is a form of floor recovery. When the attack button is pressed while a character lies on the ground, the character will simultaneously stand up and perform a weak attack that hits on both sides to create space. The attack used depends on whether the character is sitting (after tripping) or lying down. If the character has 100% or more damage, they will perform a different floor attack when lying down. In almost all cases, it does 5% or 6% damage.
