Palutena (SSB4)/Forward aerial

Overview

Palutena dropkicks in front of herself. It has a long horizontal hitbox with good range. It also has low landing lag and a fairly wide autocancel window (though not as wide as Sheik's forward aerial) that lets it SHFF. Its low power makes it viable for comboing: when SHFF'd it can lead into a jab, another forward aerial, a back aerial if timed well, or a grab. It has, however, relatively high ending lag.

Formerly nigh-unpunishable out of shield even if she was right in front of the opponent, changes to shield mechanics have left it slightly less safe on shield, making spacing and timing a bit more crucial.
