Tier list: Difference between revisions

There is currently no community-accepted ''Super Smash Bros. Ultimate'' tier list produced by the Smash Back Room or a source on par with it. This is due to the lack of a Smash Back Room for ''Ultimate'', as well as the game having been updated with new characters and balance changes for three years, and the [[COVID-19 pandemic]] curtailing offline tournaments for well over a year. With the updates being officially finished as of December 1st, 2021, and offline majors running again, it was expected that [[PG Stats]] would produce a tier list in the near future like they had for ''Melee'', which SmashWiki was planning to use. After the cancellation of the {{Trn|Smash World Tour 2022}}, and subsequent departure of most {{Team|Panda}} players and staff in the fallout of the Panda scandal, such a tier list from PG Stats never materialized. On February 13th, 2023, [[UltRank]] announced the creation of a new tier list produced by players who had been ranked on any of the six global rankings in 2022, which will be used by SmashWiki upon its release on February 24th, 2023.
