What about links in headings (e.g., ==In [[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]==)? I'm really not a fan, but some others actively add them. - Reboot (talk) 00:50, 7 December 2010 (EST)

I removed the bit that disallowed links in headings becase I couldn't figure out why it was there in the first place (i.e. why it's a bad thing). Toomai Glittershine Data Node 10:00, 7 December 2010 (EST)
I personally feel that the wiki should use one type of English, probably American English in this case. Otherwise, the wiki seems jumbled to me. Using two different sub-divisions of English is a bad idea to me. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 15:16, 7 December 2010 (EST)
This seems alright to me. The Wiki is a conglomeration of information from various editors, and said editors' English may have slightly different spellings of certain words, which is alright. I believe the recent addition made my Toomai should be here as edits just to change non American English spelling are really unnecessary, and is rude to those who wrote the information in the English they grew up with. I also find it unnecessary to force a certain spelling of the word upon those who edit the Wiki. Plus, being that the different spellings have such minute differences, often only one letter being different or one letter added, the Wiki certainly doesn't appear "jumbled" to me as you put it.
So overall, allowing both sub-divisions of English is perfectly fine with me. With both having such small differences, there's no need to force a preference of one over the other in something that is so minor and doesn't detract from the information presented on the Wiki. Support The old manual of style is outdated, and this one seems alright to me. Omega TyrantTyranitarMS.png 15:42, 7 December 2010 (EST)

Can I suggest that captions include a period at the end regardless of whether they're a complete sentence? That's always looked neater to me. Miles (talk) 15:53, 7 December 2010 (EST)

It doesn't matter, really. It's just like that because I saw no reason to change it from the current. Toomai Glittershine Data Node 21:46, 7 December 2010 (EST)

I like it except for the first word capitalized on the heading thing. I think capitalizing all letters (except stuff like of or and and things like that) looks more professional.-Ivy73002MS.png 19:47, 7 December 2010 (EST)

I made it like that because that's currently how it is and I didn't see enough of a reason to change it, and while I do agree that title case looks better for sections it should probably be consistent with not using title case for article titles. Support Much clearer than the original. Mr. Anon (talk) 22:15, 9 December 2010 (EST)

Shall I push for this to be implemented, as most active users have given support and there is no opposition? Toomai Glittershine Data Node 17:34, 12 December 2010 (EST)

Well you are kinda the leader of the wiki at this point, so yeah. Mr. Anon (talk) 19:01, 12 December 2010 (EST)
