GenAssist: A Genesis 8 Community Fundraiser was an online Melee charity event. The event featured various showmatches and non-competitive content with the aim of raising money to assist the tournament organizers of GENESIS 8 with costs related to the tournament's postponement from January to April 2022. The event raised a total of $19,338.
The event was designed around Ludwig Ahgren Championship Series 4, which began on GenAssist's final day.

All showmatches were played best of 9 (except Chillin vs. The Cheat, which continued until The Cheat won one game). iBDW vs. Ginger was scheduled for the final day of the event; however, the match did not occur.
