It says the most famous cheat is Sonic and Tails in Brawl. But it also says the most famous cheat is Sonic and Tails in Melee. The Brawl one is incorrect and should be changed. [[User:Smash Bros is Best|Smash Bros is Best]] 21:08, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

There's a rumor going around that a Black Mage screenshot has been leaked. It is a fake to me. Here's where the rumor began. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiIC6FDy2fU. Also, I've found some "leaked" screenshots about Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles and Mewtwo. --[[User:Mr.Santana Lopez|Mr.Santana Lopez]] ([[User talk:Mr.Santana Lopez|talk]]) 09:50, 18 March 2014 (EDT)

:While it is interesting to see the variety of faked character reveal images, none of your aforementioned rumours have significant enough spread to warrant mentioning on this article. In general, we want to see some significant spread for rumours (i.e. appearances in notable newssites, significant discussion on forums like [[SWF]], etc.) before they're placed on the page; alternatively, they could have some form of "uniqueness" that helps them be diffrentiated from other rumours (such as the Lucina hoax, which showed that ''Brawl'' hacks can be used to manufacture rumours).

Should I change it to have "ended" or something to that effect? Because whether or not the first leak was true, the second (Chrom), third (roster finalization), and fourth (Shulk revealed today) were all confirmed as false. Putting it as "ended" also includes that the first leak has been completely confirmed as false. Until he sends another email, all of the leaks have been resolved- #1 is right, #2-4 are wrong. :I specifically went for the neutral phrasing that at least the later emails are inaccurate/false due to Chrom's deconfirmation. It's unclear if any were accurate at this time, so I've left it open-ended. I personally believe it was a set of lucky guesses which finally missed, but it's subjective for now. == Wario Leak ==
I believe this[http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2014/jul/24/warios-inclusion-smash-leaked-nintendo-super-smash-bros-3ds-appears-under-wario-game-section-eshop/] is notable enough to be listed here, considering it's been wide-spread, and Nintendo themselves were the leakers. :This information is mentioned on the [[Wario]] page. [[User:Miles of SmashWiki|<font color="dodgerblue"><span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS;">'''Miles''']] <font color="silver">([[User talk:Miles of SmashWiki|<font color="silver">talk]])</font></font></span></font> 15:41, 28 July 2014 (EDT)
::Speaking of that leak, remember when Falco was leaked back in February? Should info on the leak be on Falco's character page? [[:User:ZeldaStarfoxfan2164|ZeldaStarfoxfan2164]] ([[User talk:ZeldaStarfoxfan2164|talk]]) is a never lover boy  22:50, 28 July 2014 (EDT)
:::That was disproven rather quickly, and unlike the eShop thing doesn't come directly from Nintendo. == Move to "List of rumors and leaks" ==
I dunno about you guys, but if we cover many rumors, as well as plenty of supposed leaks, we should probably change the title of this page to "List of rumors and leaks." [[User:Bug Man Stan|Stan the Man]] ([[User talk:Bug Man Stan|talk]]) 13:50, 6 August 2014 (EDT)
:Leaks can stay on the [[leak]]s page for now, because comparatively there's not many of them. [[User:Toomai|Toomai]] [[User talk:Toomai|Glittershine]] [[Image:Toomai.png|20px|link=User:Toomai/Bin|???]] The Interspacial 14:43, 6 August 2014 (EDT)
== Tetra Speculative ==
The trophy quiz hint thingy says Ghirahim is the most often speculated, but I've seen hundreds of Tetra speculations, that it will (or may) be Tetra from Wind Waker. [[Special:Contributions/72.105.6.36|72.105.6.36]] 11:27, 9 August 2014 (EDT)
:Ghirahim is more widely speculated though and is from the same game as Fi (as well as playing opposite to Fi) also only sign your talk posts with only one set of tildes (I.e. ~-~- not ~-~- ~-~- ~-~- replacing the dashes (-) with tildes (~) of course) [[User:Laikue|Laikue]] ([[User talk:Laikue|talk]]) 12:49, 9 August 2014 (EDT)
== The Ninka/Vaanrose "Leak" from SmashBoards.com ==
I was tempted to add this supposed "leak", but I thought it would be more appropriate to run it by here first. While it is not exactly popular, the individuals from SmashBoards who initially provided this information are regarded as trusted and reliable sources, who are unlikely to just make things up. The fact that they felt it was important enough to share is noteworthy. This information is usually not accessible for those who don't have a SmashBoards account. Recently, however, the information has been restricted to the more senior members of SmashBoards and for that reason I no longer have full access to it. The amount of secrecy about this information is very interesting, and while it is not widely acknowledged I think it's significant enough to create a section for here, but what do you guys think? I managed to snap a shot of the information. Please do not immediately disregard the information because the pictures are from Project M; the text on the image will explain that.--[[User:Nintendo101|Nintendo101]] ([[User talk:Nintendo101|talk]]) 18:21, 19 August 2014 (EDT)
:OK: '''Do not put pictures on talk pages'''. They take up unnecessary space, even more so in this pic's case, and can be handled by an internal link (<nowiki>[[:File:Name]]; notice the extra colon before 'file')</nowiki>. About the leak itself: What exactly is this supposed to leak? You never explained that. I can't read the text there, and I think you should give us an external link to the thread so we can see what this actually is. <font face="sand">''[[User:Qwerty|<font color="black">Qw</font><font color="003F3F">er</font><font color="005F5F">ty</font>]] ''[[User talk:Qwerty|<font color="005F6F">(t</font><font color="003C6F">al</font><font color="000F7F">k)</font>]]</font> 18:58, 19 August 2014 (EDT)
::I can provide a link to the thread, but individuals who do not have a SmashBoards account cannot view the information, and the thread has now been locked so that only senior members can view the information anyways. http://smashboards.com/threads/the-ninka-vaanrose-leak-discussion-theory.362684 The purpose of the image is that if you select it, and go to its file, it's large enough for you to read it's contents. It was the only way for me to provide the information without quoting it myself because I didn't think I'd be believed if I was to just spread the information from it. The leak adds details on certain palette swaps, and more importantly it claims to provide information on newcomers and character cuts from ''Brawl''. --[[User:Nintendo101|Nintendo101]] ([[User talk:Nintendo101|talk]]) 20:17, 19 August 2014 (EDT)
