Dr. Pain 99Edit

Hello. I am Dr. Pain 99, an active contributor to this wiki. I have been here for over a year, but I only started actively contributing this month. Even though I haven't contributed very long, I believe I am ready to request rollback. I currently have almost over 400 edits, and over 200 of them are to mainspace articles. I have reverted vandalism multiple times, and a couple of times rollback would have really helped because the vandal vandalized in multiple edits, forcing me to undo every single one of the vandal's edits. With rollback powers, I will be able help protect this wiki from vandals faster and more efficently. Dr. Pain 99   Talk 23:00, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

OpposeEdit

NeutralEdit

  • Meh. Not to sound crass, but do we really need more rollbackers? Miles (talk) 02:39, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
  • Why not? This is a large wiki (it's mentioned on Wikipedia), and the larger it grows the more vandals it'll attract. A new generation of video game consoles is comming, and with it a new Smash game. I think we should have as many good users as we can. Mr. Anon (talk) 03:16, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
  • There's no proof there's going to be another Smash (I agree it's probable, but still). And as it is, we have plenty of bcrats, sysops and rollbackers around in my opinion. Miles (talk) 13:35, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

CommentsEdit

  • @Miles: I can understand how we can have too many admins and bureaucrats, but how can we have too many rollbackers? Omega Tyrant   16:07, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
I mostly just don't see it as especially helpful to promote more when we have enough. Miles (talk) 16:27, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
So even if a candidate is qualified, you don't believe we should give them rollback just because there is already a large amount of active rollbackers? Omega Tyrant   16:53, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
Yes. Miles (talk) 18:56, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
Hmm, I don't think that should automatically disqualify a qualified candidate but that is your opinion. Omega Tyrant   19:03, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
