I don't think people deserve being blocked (however minor the block is) just for making a useless/bad edit. It makes it appear that admins are trigger-happy and are insensitive to the idea that newbies make mistakes. :OK, I may be going overboard, but things are also getting way to lax around here.  I'm basically following the model of New York Crime fighting.  Broken windows and turnstile jumping are actually enforced.  I will go through and look at my blocks and make sure that I am doing this correctly.  The one earlier today was borderline, but I honestly think that it was deserving of a short block.  I will make you a deal:  I will tone down the "bad edit" blocks, but will stay strict on the actual breaches of policy.  Thank you for bringing this to my attention.  [[User:Clarinet Hawk|Clarinet Hawk]] <small>([[User talk:Clarinet Hawk|talk]] · [[Special:Contributions/Clarinet Hawk|contributions]])</small> 20:21, May 12, 2010 (UTC)
