Let's settle this here, on the talk page. If the definition of a semiclone is a pair of characters that share at least one move, then Dedede and Kirby are semiclones, as are Kirby and Meta Knight, and Jigglypuff and Kirby, for example. :They would also have to be similar in shape; your example with Dedede and Kirby is what we call an exception. More than one, then? Seriously, let's use logic and not revert things because the articles doesn't look the way you want it to. <font face="Eurostile" size="3">[[User:Blue Ninjakoopa|<span style="color:#00008B">BNK</span>]]</font> <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[Special:EditCount/Blue Ninjakoopa|E]]|[[User talk:Blue Ninjakoopa|T]]|[[Special:Contributions/Blue Ninjakoopa|C]]] 06:16, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Kirby and Jigglypuff I could see being considered semi-clones if you emphasize standard attacks over special attacks. But if you are going to claim any two characters having just one attack with a similar animation bring semi-clones, then you could considered every sword character as being semi-clones due to them having a similar down smash or all the characters who have the basic sex kick nair as being semi-clones. You could also consider Ike and Marth as being semi-clones for both having Counter along with their down and forward smashes being somewhat similar (which as I can recall, you believe they were not semi-clones). Generally, special moves are usually considered more important in deciding clones/semi-clones. As such, Kirby and Jigglypuff have vastly different specials along with Captain Falcon and Samus. Out of the semi-clones you listed, the only I would possibly agree that were semi-clones were Kirby and Jigglypuff in the first ''SSB''. It seems that people are too hasty in deciding who are clones and semi-clones. In my opinion, two characters should at least have a forth to a third of their attacks being similar in appearance and function to be possibly considered semi-clones. Also, for two attacks to be the "same", they must contain the same exact hitboxes (which no attacks do). I reverted to an older version since you done that to my edit, which removed information I have put in the article as well as for not bringing this issue up on the talk page first. There are no official clones/semi-clones, thus this article is based on consensus and your opinion alone does not equal consensus. <span style="font-family:Edwardian Script ITC; font-size:12pt">[[User:Omega Tyrant|<span style="color:forestgreen">Omega</span>]] [[User talk:Omega Tyrant|<span style="color:forestgreen">Tyrant</span>]]</span> [[Image: TyranitarMS.png|25px ]] 06:43, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
