The Auroros is an enemy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode. They usually hover in one spot until they see the player's character, after which they dive from the sky and jab their beaks into the ground. Once they are stuck in the ground, they can be pulled out, and possibly used as a thrown item.
It's possible that the design came from the vehicle "Dragoon" from Kirby Air Ride.
