Before saving the edit, ask yourself: is what I've written polite and professional instead of rude? Is what I've written constructive instead of inflammatory? Are other users likely to respond well to being spoken to in this way? If the message is intended to be sharp, am I the right person to be writing it? Making sure that these questions are all answered appropriately will help you to improve your edits and communication on the wiki to be more constructive.
