'''The Mango''' was a super regional tournament held in Long Beach, California, on March 18th, 2018 and organized by [[2GGaming]] and {{Sm|Mango}}. It hosted singles and doubles tournaments for ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''. It was the first [[2GGaming]] ''Melee'' tournament and the first tournament of the '''Road to Mango Juice Series'''. Notable top players include {{Sm|Mango}}, {{Sm|Leffen}}, {{Sm|SFAT}}, {{Sm|S2J}}, {{Sm|Shroomed}}, {{Sm|Swedish Delight}}, {{Sm|Westballz}}, {{Sm|Lucky}}, {{Sm|HugS}}, and many others.  

The tournament featured a relaxed atmosphere seen as emblematic of the character of Mango: numerous players and commentators were intoxicated throughout the event, and many players chose to [[sandbagging|sandbag]], playing secondaries or not competing at a serious level. Many of those top players were notably upset in the tournament, with Mango falling at 17th while using Captain Falcon and Leffen taking 13th while using Marth and Mewtwo, among others. {{Sm|Kalamazhu}} pulled off a very impressive run, beating top players such as Mango, SFAT, and {{Sm|Syrox}} on his way to a 2nd place finish.
