- "Hit points" is the more standard term in general. Indeed, "hit points" has over five times the Google results than "health points" does. Toomai Glittershine

- This isn't the only article in that vein, Coins (collectable) is pluralised, going against the Manual of Style, but the concept is generally pluralised. But to answer the question, this article refers to hit points in groups rather than evaluating an individual hit point, so keep this article with the name it has now. Toast
