His tag is inspired by Zero from the Mega Man video games. However, several other smashers also had their tags named to Zero as well, so instead of naming himself this, he decided to change the first two letters into X and Y. This made Xyro stand out, with the tag having a similar pronunciation but the name being completely different. | |||
