Kone has been involved within the UK smash scene since its beginning. Having organised local amateur tournaments within Newcastle he was contacted via [[SmashBoards]] by The Doug and thus began his entrance into the competitive scene. Hosted the first large UK melee tournament Judgement Day and has since hosted SCT4, EDmas and EDster and has played major roles in running Smash Glasgow, Taunton and SmashGT.
