On June 16, 2014, Masahiro Sakurai revealed some of the Mii Swordfighters' neutral specials being Chakram, Shurikens of Light, and Gale Strike. He also confirmed that the Chakram is the only one that is part of a side special. The following are the Mii Swordfighter's special moves:
*Side Special 1: Chakram: Throws a chakram that can be controlled mid-flight, and even become stalled in mid-air.
*Neutral Special 1 (part of Side Special 1): Chakram: Throws a chakram that can be controlled mid-flight, and even become stalled in mid-air.
*Unknown Move: Shuriken of Light: Throws a bright, translucent shuriken forwards.
*Neutral Special 2: Shurikens of Light: Throws a bright, translucent shuriken forwards.
*Unknown Move: Gale Strike: Creates a mini-tornado and sends it forwards. Aesthetically, this move resembles Link's gale boomerang.
*Neutral Special 3: Gale Strike: Creates a mini-tornado and sends it forwards. Aesthetically, this move resembles Link's gale boomerang.
