::I am actually of the opinion that these articles should be merged, but one thing does need to be checked: can someone run a 1-stock with Falco in Melee, d-air the CPU for a KO and check your Bonus awards to see if you get 800 points for a Meteor Smash? I'll do that when I get home if I get a chance and if no one beats me to it. Either way, per the DOJO, Sakurai has been calling any downward attack a meteor smash in Brawl since the Samus info came out with no mention of a "meteor cancel".

::Which I guess is something I should clarify...or at least see if people agree with me. ::The article says: "In Brawl, Meteor Cancels can still be performed, but can no longer be performed immediately after being hit." Well then it's not doing a very good job of cancelling is it? I mean, you still get meteored. What this article is describing right now is the way a "spike" behaved in Melee. Sure, you can "meteor cancel" a spike, so long as you don't have so much damage that you plummet to the bottom of the screen before coming out of your tumbling animation. I think a more realistic conclusion is that meteor-cancelling was removed entirely and now whether or not you survive a meteor smash is strictly based on what damage you're at when you get hit, as well as how quick you are to react if you have the chance to recover. Then it goes on to talk about stage spikes which aren't even mentioned in the spike article.

::But anyway, not to get too sidetracked, I just think that at this stage of the game, a meteor smash is what you call any hit that sends you downwards and you can only meteor-cancel in Melee. That covers all the bases from 64 to Brawl with minimal confusion. --<font color="000023">RJM</font> Talk 19:58, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Team Combos
Man I come to you alot...you are a great source of wisdom and understanding. I hae another issue I want to take care of but I feel I need permission to make drastic changes. The team combo page is in need of alot of cleanup. My former crew and I put almost all moves possible moves that can be performed by two characters. The names we called them ar just our terms and don't need to be used on the page. But I feel this is far more organized and understandable. Here are the team combos:

*Gang Up - First, one character performs some sort of capture move such as a grab, Yoshi's down air, or an infinite combo. The partner then uses a high power move (like a side smash) or a damaging move (like Fox's Blaster).

Uh yeah quick question. I figured i might as well put it under here since you mentioned it, can anyone change the format of the character pages to match the ones like metaknight and falco? I don't know who the people good with coding and stuff are, but on the RFA talk you and the other admins expressed a desire to keep the monobook skin, but couldn't. Well, the same thing happened to us on GuildWiki, and a couple of our knowledgeable editors designed a monobookish monaco skin. You can find the code for it at my monaco.css, and test it in your monaco.css. If you and the other admins find it to your liking, putting the code at MediaWiki:Monaco-common.css should set it as the default for the site.  --<font face="vivaldi" size="3" color="Steelblue">Shadowcrest</font> 19:53, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

It's an issue with Opera the web browser, which I believe the Wii uses a hacked up version of it. The bug affects all Wikia, and it's high up on the priority list to get fixed. --Sky (t · c · w) 03:41, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

There is a small problem regarding this page. The, uh, redirect is mysteriously still there. Can you check out the broken redirects page and see what you can do? It is the only broken redirect left.--Oxico (talk) 12:39, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Good news. I found a video camera that I'm pretty my dad won't mind if I take/use. The bad news is that it looks to be about twenty years old.

Since you seem to have changed most of the other blocks that occurred during this fiasco, I thought I should point out that Kperfekt722 is still infinitely blocked. I'm guessing this was probably an oversight, because as far as I'm aware, what he did wasn't (much) worse than what any of the others did, and probably doesn't merit anything that extreme. Anyway, you may want to fix that block too, unless there's something I missed that he was involved in.<span style="color:#4682b4">–Entrea Sumatae</span> 22:49, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

A1lion853
A user I have never met before sent this message to me:
"This is A1lion835. My userpage has been deleted and I cannot post anything. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could tell an admin or someone like that about this. Sorry for doing this on your page, Oxico, but it was the first that came to mind. I thank all for their help."
I think his problem has something to do with the Wii Internet as I cannot post on there either. I dk.--Oxico (talk) 15:34, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
:I saw that, and his page looks fine.  I know from Sky that there are some problems with Opera browsers (which the Wii uses), so that could be the problem.  I'm not great with the layered coding (two deep is about as far as I routinely go), but if you or he talk to Sky or the wikia staff, they might be able to help you out.  Clarinet Hawk <small>(talk · contributions)</small> 15:37, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
