:I don't know a single Canadian who considers themselves an American. The word "American" in the English language is rarely used to refer to anyone other than people from the United States. If you really feel up to the challenge of renaming it, bear in mind that it also requires the laborious task of editing every article contained in [[:Category:American smashers]] as well for standardization.
