:I wasn't here two years ago, but it appears that over time the article has slowly been changed to refer to her as female, with no opposition. Because no-one's so much as mentioned these changes until now, I really don't see exactly why you should do this over again; however, if you want my take, I think that given the evidence, if you asked Nintendo how to call her today, they'd tell you to call her female.
