ThundeRzReiGN's playstyle is centered around his extensive punish game, alongside his patient, bait-and-punish style neutral. Augmented by his ability to switch between aggressive and defensive play, it enables him to maneuver around opponents and [[bait]] out poor approaches or over-extensions. His accurate usage of {{PM|Donkey Kong}}'s combo starters (most notably his cargo up-throw) and follow-ups enable him to [[zero-to-death]] opponents for making a mistake. He couples this ability with an unmatched mastery and understanding of Donkey Kong's capabilities, allowing him to determine the most optimal option to use at any given time.
