This article is a list of music tracks in Super Smash Bros. Brawl placed into the Super Smash Bros. category by the Sound Test. This category is for compositions or arrangements originating from the previous two Smash titles, though the original Super Smash Bros. is represented by just a single remixed track. Most of these tracks have been directly ported from Super Smash Bros. Melee, while two are remixes of tracks originating in Melee, and a handful of Melee track remixes have been edited or rearranged for Brawl.

This track serves as an overlapping arrangement of two popular music tracks from mariowiki The first of which is the Ground Theme, which would play on any level that did not take place underground, underwater or within a mariowiki. The second sub-track is the Underground Theme, which would originally play on any level that took place underground, often the second level within a World. This track has been slightly enhanced from Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Once Green Greens, Jungle Japes, Big Blue and Pokémon Stadium have been unlocked, the CD containing this track will coincide. The reason these four stages must be unlocked to obtain the CD is because of their Melee origins.

This track is an arrangement of two popular music pieces from the Mario series. The first of these is a remix of Super Mario 64s Slider theme, which would play when Mario was attempting a slide-based bonus area, adventuring through mariowiki, and eventually mariowiki, the level that the Rainbow Cruise stage is based upon. The second sub-track within this overall piece is a remix of the Super Mario Bros. from Super Mario Bros., a track that would play on any level of Super Mario Bros. where Mario was required to swim throughout a large portion of the level. This track has been slightly remixed from Super Smash Bros. Melee.

This track is a banjo-based remix of a music piece originating in mariowiki that being the music that would play on most athletic levels, some of which are situated on Yoshi's Island, hence the stage that the track plays on. Later on in this remix, a woodblock beat will be added. This is derived from how a woodblock beat would be added to the background music whenever Mario rode Yoshi in Super Mario World and following games. This track has been directly ported from Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Origin
Origin
The majority of this track serves as a lightly orchestral remix of the music that would play when Kirby ventured through any Green Greens-themed level in wikirby. However, the ending segment to this track is an excerpt of the music that would play when the Kirby Super Star sub-game wikirby was drawing to a close. This track in turn has been remixed from Super Smash Bros. Melee.

The fact that a remix of the Venom music track would play on the Corneria stage is ironic, as Super Smash Bros. Melee featured a Venom stage.

Origin
This track is somewhat of a medley of music tracks from the original EarthBound Beginnings game for the nwiki. The first of these is named wikibound, which is chronologically the second track that would play when wikibound explored the over world after he gains his first ally, Lloyd, as well as when he escorts Pippi Lindgren home from the Podunk Cemetery. The second track is a remix of the wikibound theme, the music piece that the storyline of EarthBound Beginnings revolved around, as the whole objective of the game was that Ninten needed to collect all eight pieces of this track. The third and final track is the standard Battle Theme, which would play when Ninten and his friends fought any standard enemy that is not a boss. The track has been remixed from Super Smash Bros. Melee.

This track is a synthesized arrangement of two music tracks from Ice Climber. The first of these is the Bonus Stage Theme, a track that would play when Popo or the Ice Climbers reached the summit of a mountain and triggered a bonus stage, which would involve the player climbing as high as they can, trying to collect vegetables along the way. The second sub-track is a remix of the standard Mountain Theme, a track that would play on any level of gameplay prior to the Bonus Stage. This track has been completely remixed from Super Smash Bros. Melee.

This track is a rock-based arrangement of two music tracks from mariowiki, the first of which being the music that plays on most athletic levels, such as the very first level. The second sub-track is a remix of the music that would play when Mario or Luigi travelled across the mariowiki of mariowiki. This track has been remixed from Super Smash Bros. Melee with alterations to the instruments, most notably the electric guitar. The beginning of the loop is also shorter.

Trivia
*With the exception of Battlefield (Melee), all the Melee remixes that were edited or rearranged for Brawl reverted to their original Melee arrangements in Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, making Brawl the only appearance of these edits.
*Kongo Jungle (Melee) is titled incorrectly in the sound test, being labelled "Kong Jungle (Melee)".
*All of the Melee tracks (ported or remixed from Melee) in Brawl are titled the exact same title they had in Melee, with Brawl adding "(Melee)" to the end of it, the only exception being Menu 1, in Brawl it is simply titled Menu (Melee), if it was correctly titled it would be Menu 1 (Melee).
*Brawl is the only game in which every track that was from a previous installment was put in the Super Smash Bros. category, with the exceptions of tracks that are repurposed or remixed for  Brawl, such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which is a remix of Melees Menu 2, or Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which is a remix of Melees Menu 1 and Opening.
