Preview

Hi, I noticed that when editing, you make an excess amount of minor edits to the same page, rather than doing all your editing in one edit. When editing, use preview to look over your edits for mistakes and complete your editing in one edit, rather than just hitting save and then looking over it to make more edits. Otherwise you clog the recent changes with excess unnecessary edits, that blot out other edits and annoy other users. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 06:47, 12 February 2013 (EST)

crap. sorry, didnt mean to make too many edits. Red (Talk)Special:Contributions/Red 11:28, 12 February 2013 (EST)
Also respond to talk page messages here, not on the other person's talk page. Wiki conversations should be kept in one place for easier following and more organisation. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 11:51, 12 February 2013 (EST)
Sorry. I'm used to replying on the other page. Red (Talk) Special:Contributions/Red 12:05, 12 February 2013 (EST)

Skin image

I noticed you tried to use this image in your personal skin and it didn't work. Would you be interested in this fix?

  1. Put [[Image:Smashwiki logo80.png|121x135px]] into any page and show preview (the 121x135px is because that's the regular logo's size). The wiki will create a version of that size.
  2. Right-click on the image and view its properties. In this case, the smaller image is as http://www.ssbwiki.com/images/thumb/e/e7/Smashwiki_logo80.png/121px-Smashwiki_logo80.png. Put that in your .css file instead of the original.

Note that this method works for any image, but changes aren't applied until the small version is re-previewed in any page. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Inconceivable 11:00, 17 April 2014 (EDT)

FYI

"Image:" or "File:", it doesn't matter, so it's not the best idea to make edits just to change one to the other. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Wacko 10:17, 21 April 2014 (EDT)

Am I allowed to change it if I do things other than that? Red (Talk) Special:Contributions/Red 10:19, 21 April 2014 (EDT)
I don't see why not, but it won't accomplish anything. As far as I know there's literally no difference between the two other than one's 4 letters and the other is 5. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Breegull 10:22, 21 April 2014 (EDT)

Hello thanx that advice

thanx 4 telling me how 2 put a picture down :)--Reshiram1105 (talk) 17:05, 5 May 2014 (EDT)

Um

I see zero difference between the Spain flag you uploaded and the one we already have, aside from slightly different colours and filesize that aren't noticable when used on pages. Am I missing something important? Toomai Glittershine ??? The Steppin' 12:53, 20 May 2014 (EDT)

Yes, it's miniscule, but I thought it would be "more accurate". Sorry about that. Red (talk) Red 10:52, 21 May 2014 (EDT)

Wii Fit Trophies

Hi, I noticed you altered the descriptions on the page List of SSB4 trophies (Wii Fit series) to use terms that are wiki standard. I wanted to ask if you realized that since they're in-game descriptions, it'd be more accurate to use the exact wording found in the game, rather than the wiki standard for such things. It's a rather simple revert fix, but before I do that, I'd like to know if you have a counter-argument in favor of altering the text. I hope I don't come off as rude here, I just want to know if there's a reason that it would be better to leave it like you changed it to. Mistiryshak (talk) 10:59, 29 September 2014 (EDT)

I actually changed it from wiki standard to the official terminology used by Nintendo. PikaSamus (talk) PikaSamus 11:04, 29 September 2014 (EDT)
Oh? I'm the one who added the descriptions, and I never saw anyone change the terms or anything, and I check every edit to trophy-related pages. Sorry then, thanks for clearing that up. Mistiryshak (talk) 11:07, 29 September 2014 (EDT)

Bulba

So do I actually know you on Bulbapedia or did you just recognize my name? Schiffy (talk) 17:13, 13 October 2014 (EDT)

I'm known as "Pikachu Bros." on Bulbapedia. I told you about a page you missed in your Japanese name entering for "How I Became a Pokémon Card" (it one about Hoppip). PikaSamus (talk) PikaSamus 09:44, 14 October 2014 (EDT)
Oh yeah, I recognize you. Kewl. Schiffy (talk) 11:58, 14 October 2014 (EDT)

Hello.

Have you seen this talk page? Toomai Glittershine ??? The Incomperable 11:09, 22 October 2014 (EDT)

Darn it. I should always check the talk page before doing such a thing. PikaSamus (talk) PikaSamus 11:12, 22 October 2014 (EDT)

RE: "Some Idiot"

I wasn't specificly calling someone's name. But I understand that it was inappropriate for me to do that. My apologies. --HiHiCyclyn (talk) 13:40, 29 October 2014 (EDT)
