Approach Attacks are those that can also be considered projectiles that use the character's body as the projectile. I.e. the attack moves the character a considerable distance (e.g. Wolf's Side Smash, although it moves him, would not be in this category as the distance is not significant). Thus these attacks provide a safer approach than simply walking through offensive strategies.
