Collision 2024 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee major and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate supermajor held in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, from March 15th-17th, 2024. The tournament was themed around "Heroes vs Villains," and entrants were required to pick a side at registration. Top players from each team were chosen for a crew battle in both Melee and Ultimate.

Super Smash Bros. Melee

• During Top 8 of Melee singles, Mango played using Falco's blue palette costume. This was in homage to Ginger, who retired from competitive Melee following the tournament.
• This tournament marks the first time moky has defeated Mango in Melee singles.
• Hungrybox had his best run since Super Smash Con 2023, beating #1 seed Cody Schwab twice as well as moky and Ossify to place 2nd, ultimately getting double eliminated by #2 seed Zain.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

• Tweek, the #1 seed, got upset by two Steve mains in Onin, who was the #16 seed, and DDee, who was the #11 seed, causing Tweek to place 17th, resulting in a combined Upset Factor of 13.
• SHADIC continued his meteoric rise by notably placing 2nd, defeating multiple bracket demons such as Light, Lima and IcyMist, only losing to Sparg0, both at Winners Finals and Grand Finals.
• This tournament marks the first time Kola defeated MkLeo in Ultimate singles, in an Upset Factor of 2. He would later go on to defeat seed #4 Light, in an Upset Factor of 3 and seed #10 MuteAce to place 4th.
• Sparg0 won the entire tournament while only dropping four games, only losing two to SHADIC, one to MuteAce and one to Peabnut.
