:It's appropriate to have a short blurb, yes, but the key word is short. Basically, gen of origin, any significant role in the plot/story, or other brief notes are okay. It just shouldn't turn into a copy-paste of Pokedex entries or of extraneous info better left to Bulbapedia. The section on the [[Arceus]] page or the second draft by Nintendrone above would be around the right length, I think.
