:::It's the type of transformation: Super Sonic, Megazard X, and Super Dragon are different than Mega Lucario, Wario-Man, and Giga Bowser/Mac, in that the former is restricted in attacks, and is essentially a "power up"; the latter is an entirely different character (so to speak), so it is recognized as such.
