Locus is a smasher originally from Weyburn, Saskatchewan, considered to be arguably the best Ryu main in Canada. Currently ranked at #3 on the British Columbia power rankings where he resides due to university. Locus boasts wins over Xzax, Captain L, Big D and a variety of other top talent from Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest.

Competitive History
He began his playing in tournaments in the summer of 2015 and immediately began to dominate the Saskatchewan scene. Upon moving to BC to attend UBC, Locus continued to do well in BC tournaments despite his lack of experience. At the end of the Winter 2015/16 season Mason was already an honourable mention on the very competitive BC Power rankings. By the end of the spring 2016, Locus was #5 on the BC PR. After a return to domination in Saskatchewan during summer 2016. Locus recently returned to BC as the school year began again to be now ranked #3 on the BC PR. His sponsorship from UBC hopes to allow Locus to travel more and improve and make a name for himself as a top Ryu.
UBC | OneHand
Locus is famed for his alter-ego of UBC | OneHand, a falcon main with only 1 hand. Originally a device used to challenge himself when his only practice partner was his non-competitive sister, UBC | OneHand made it's debut in a money match against top Saskatchewan player Qwexe's god-awful bad peach where OneHand took the 2$ in a clean 2-0. Since then OneHand has improved and made a name for itself beating all sorts of players in friendlies and money matches, notably FoCus and Exodia.
Trivia
- Locus is famous for his incredibly fierce hatred of Toon Link
- Locus is often held back by his atrocious record against BC's #2 Captain L that Locus cites as being caused by Captain L's bidou SDI allowing him to SDI out of Ryu's D-tilt and U-tilt combos
- Despite being ranked #3 on the BC PR, Locus only sits at about #5 on the Weyburn PR, being ranked under Mijobe, Slosk, SisterCharlton and OneHand, most of whom Locus has admitted are better than him.
- Locus once famously captured all 10 spots on the Saskatchewan PR, after failing to even make Honourable Mentions 2 days prior, due to his beautiful face.
- An inside joke has arisen among the BC smash community that Locus is secretly FoCus' brother, proofed by the fact that both their first names and tags are only differentiated by 1 letter.
