Screw Attack (item): Difference between revisions

The '''Screw Attack''' ({{ja|スクリューアタック|Sukuryu Atakku}}, ''Screw Attack'') is an [[item]] that first appeared in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''. The item alters a character's first and second jumps (leaving unchanged any further jumps they may have), changing them to mimic [[Samus Aran]]'s [[up special move]] (for which the item is named).  In ''Melee'', it can be thrown at an enemy, knocking them  upwards in a {{b|Screw Attack|move}}, dragging any nearby opponents (even the thrower) into the attack. As in Samus' special move, the player hit by a Screw Attack becomes [[helpless]]. Many players use this in a pseudo-combo with Samus' up special.
