He didn't rescue her (his intentions in the 1st and 2nd tournaments) until Virtua Fighter 3, but made her lose her memory due to an attempt to un-brainwash her. She ended up moving to her own apartment in New York. He joined the 3rd tournament to protect her. | |||

He joined the 4th tournament due to a letter J6 gave him making him join. Vanessa Lewis, Sarah's bodyguard, went missing after the 4th tournament. J6 was still messing with his racing career, making sponsors pull-out and his car breaking-down. Jacky decided to get revenge and then the invitation to the 5th tournament came. | |||
