Articuno: Difference between revisions

Articuno is a legendary Pokémon that can be summoned via a [[Poké Ball]] in ''Super Smash Bros. Melee''. Articuno's appearance is rare due to its status as a legendary Pokémon, and general high power. Its chance of appearing out of a Poké Ball is highly increased in the [[event match]] [[Legendary Pokémon]]. Articuno uses Icy Wind as its attack, where it will unleash a blast of frost from its body. Any character in Icy Wind's attack radius will take 25% damage and be frozen for a few seconds, much like being affected by a [[Freezie]]. Characters that are affected by Articuno's Icy Wind will also be sent towards the top of the screen with very high [[knockback]]; very light characters like {{SSBM|Jigglypuff}} could potentially be [[OHKO]]'d on small stages, but it usually KOs around 25%. Articuno's attack cannot harm the summoner.
