About my block.

I realized that the block was necisary, as I had very inappropriate behavior. I hope the wiki is doing well these days.174.55.241.143 13:08, 20 April 2016 (EDT)

IRC

It just borked. Hard. Disaster Flare   (talk) 18:29, 21 April 2016 (EDT)

Yeah I saw, seems Gamesurge is having issues... Serpent   King 18:31, 21 April 2016 (EDT)
I mean, that was not supposed to happen. What kind of issues do you think happened? --  BeepYou, a user with no grammar at all :v (talk) 18:32, 21 April 2016 (EDT)

IRC

Can you guys get back on? Dots (talk)   The Character 19:33, 21 April 2016 (EDT)

We are on. The IRC had some kind of fragment thing happen. We're on one half while you're on the other. Disaster Flare   (talk) 19:36, 21 April 2016 (EDT)

IRC Stuff

Was gonna find my proxy, but I found my Dota match, so uh, let me just say: You blocked me. Real uh, real professional there. I guess you'll want to add a ban on using the word SWAG on IRC if you're gonna do that stuff. MegaTron1  22:03, 21 April 2016 (EDT)

Oh shit I'm sorry. You uh...you have a very similar mask to his so I just assumed it was him. Removing now, my apologies. Serpent   King 22:04, 21 April 2016 (EDT)
Note the address too. I can tell if its actually Swagman or not. Dots (talk)   The Ness 22:24, 21 April 2016 (EDT)

User:Penro/WelcomeIP

I created a template to convice IPs to make an account, similar to our current welcome template. Do you think it's good enough, and if so, can we implement it as a template? If not, what do you think should be changed? Penro    20:42, 25 April 2016 (EDT)

Could be worth making, yeah. Put it to a vote maybe. Serpent   King 08:35, 26 April 2016 (EDT)
K, thanks! But what will we have a vote for? If it should exist at all, or if it's good enough to be a template? Penro    23:05, 27 April 2016 (EDT)
Whether or not we need it. I am not opposed but I can't speak for the rest. Serpent   King 23:09, 27 April 2016 (EDT)

Quick favor

Would you mind bringing this back for a second? I need it for something.  Aidan, the Wandering Dragon Warrior  08:55, 5 May 2016 (EDT)

Turns out I don't have the file anymore so... You beat me to it. Drill Blaster Mark 2 (talk) 11:26, 5 May 2016 (EDT)
You guys still need this? Serpent   King 16:44, 5 May 2016 (EDT)
Nah they've already got it uploaded. I'll go ahead and delete it. Disaster Flare   (talk) 16:45, 5 May 2016 (EDT)

Kill Percents, worth mentioning?

I have noticed that for most characters, the percent at which their attacks kill is not mentioned. I'm referring primarily to the smash attacks and special moves, as well as some aerials. I can take the time to check at what percents these moves will kill (at least for Smash Wii U and Brawl) i'm wondering if its worth the effort. I'd hate to see someone delete my findings afterward. So do you think its something I should start on?Nightgengale (talk) 22:15, 5 May 2016 (EDT)

The thing with KO percents is that while you can get a general idea of where they are, you'd have to set up the same way each and every time. We actually have an article for forward smashes which has KO percents, but the problem on that article is consistency: We have no idea under what conditions these numbers were taken in some cases. There's also the issue of where to put the statistic... I would suggest in the description of moveset tables on the character pages. Just be sure to be consistent and note exactly how you are doing it (on Mario in the middle of FD is probably best). Serpent   King 22:21, 5 May 2016 (EDT)
We already mention some kill percents on each character's general page. I assume that being able to KO a Mario at position X would warrant mention on the primary page while the specific pages could look at general weight KO percents and position and stuff. MegaTron1  22:24, 5 May 2016 (EDT)
That could work as well. Serpent   King 22:25, 5 May 2016 (EDT)
Got it. Thanks :)Nightgengale (talk) 22:37, 5 May 2016 (EDT)

Leffen

Let me explain. Yes, it didn't break SW:TRIVIA, and I am sorry for the confusion, but the trivia was way too obivious to be decent trivia. That's sorta like saying,"Mango is the first Smash player to be sponsored by Cloud9", despite it being really obivious. Penro (Talk) 22:09, 6 May 2016 (EDT)

It's not obvious for people who do not follow the scene as closely as we do, and that of course is why we report on the scene in the first place. Serpent   King 22:22, 6 May 2016 (EDT)
Yeah, I see. Penro (Talk) 08:19, 7 May 2016 (EDT)

"Clearly Consensus Means Nothing"

A 5-1-2 vote doesn't mean consensus, especially if you're gonna get all dramatic about how your majority rule victory makes you the victim. Honestly, someone can correct me if I'm blatantly wrong or outdated, but having a majority rule victory means jackshit in a lot of situations if the debate isn't going your way. MegaTron1  18:39, 12 May 2016 (EDT) I prefer Larry Lurr to be called DEHF because I find it cooler and he only changed it to Larry Lurr last year. His name is still DEHF.
