'''Alex19''' is a smasher from Norwalk, California who is often questioned about his level of influence, or "greatness," in the community. To answer this question, one must first assess whether or not they have seen any other {{SSBM|Fox}} main with comparable ability and movement to Alex19, and it is very often that they have not. He became active around 2009 and 2011, and has put the game on another level ever since he entered the scene. After a brief stint of inactivity, he has become more active from 2013 onwards, which is fortunate as the community will be hard-pressed to find another individual who possesses even half of his skill and passion for ''Melee''. He is not a player who necessarily breaks records, as he was formerly only ranked 79th on the [[2016 SSBMRank]] and 18th on the [[SoCal Melee Power Rankings]], compared to players such as {{Sm|Mango}} and {{Sm|Armada}}. However, his incredibly creative and borderline rule-breaking style has seen him take sets off players that one would assume would be beyond his reach, such as {{Sm|Silent Wolf}}, {{Sm|Lucky}}, {{Sm|S2J}}, {{Sm|SFAT}}, {{Sm|Shroomed}}, {{Sm|HugS}}, {{Sm|Wizzrobe}}, and {{Sm|Zhu}}. As such, statistical analysis proves to be futile when analyzing Alex19's true ''Melee'' skill, and one would have to look much deeper than just the objective numbers to truly appreciate and prefer the magic that he brings to an otherwise-optimized metagame.
