::Answer - No, of course not. There are some articles, such as Golden Sun, which remains relatively untouched. There are some articles, like Mario, which is frequently updated and edited, yet there is no vandalism. However, the Brawl article is currently the most vulnerable at the moment, and if anything major happens between now and the release date, I would not immediately protect. I would issue a warning and then block. (I have used this tactic on Wikipedia as well, where it is easier to ask admins to issue a block because they answer immediately, due to their sheer numbers.) I would only protect if there is an onslaught of vandalism. However, I don't expect anyone, much less me, to be appointed by that time. I hope I answered your question! --Misken67 05:45, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

*Oppose Temperament is something to be desired, threatening to remove other contributors work instead of approaching them politely and working to verify validity is very troubling to me. Also, although content is a larger target for vandals oh oh say, a series release, requesting an RfA on the basis of protecting articles is not the solution I'm looking for. Despite a number of vandals coming from anonymous IPs, a good number of valid contributions come from anonymous editors as well. And with the release of Brawl, people will be eager to add information, and they can't do that if the information is protected, whether fully or semi. Perhaps you should try again at a later time, sorry. --Charitwo 12:45, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

::Answer - Oh, so you finally decide to answer me, after 2 weeks of repeated requests. As you can see, I gave him some time to give me a reference, since there was no source on the article whatsoever. Nobody could figure out what C.G. was, so I asked him, and if he didn't respond, I would request for deletion. It might seem strict, but I am used to Wikipedia standards, and I believe articles without proper sourcing or relationship to the Smash Bros. series do not deserve an article. I had no idea what C.G. was, there was no reference, and a Google search wouldn't help, so I left the message. As for protection, you obviously haven't been assaulted by 8 IP vandals before. If someone really does want to help, they will take the time to join Wikia, which probably takes 1 minute and requires no personal information. But as you see, if one or two vandals decide to come, as is happening, there should be a warning issued (which isn't happening). --Misken67 01:01, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
