According to the victim, he was slashed in the thigh with a samurai sword Inui had possession of as he was returning to a former Mobil Oil site where he was believed to be living, due to being homeless at the time. When police apprehended Inui, he stated he was defending himself with the sword due to the other man "attacking him with a big stick". As a result of this, his reputation among the ''Smash'' community was stained even further, immediately sparking drama, numerous jokes, and serious discussions on many social media platforms and top players' streams. Due to this, and the legal charges being pressed against him, it is unlikely he will return to the ''Smash'' scene in the near future.
