'''Omega Tyrant''' is a upstate New York [[smasher]], who actively participates in tournaments, has contributed extensively to Smash knowledge, and is known for having a fairly popular Smash-based youtube channel that features [[AI]] exploitation videos. His current main Smash game is ''Smash 4'', where he been mostly using {{SSB4|R.O.B.}} in tournaments, with frequent secondary usage of {{SSB4|Charizard}} and {{SSB4|Ganondorf}}. He additionally recently picked up {{SSB4|Zero Suit Samus}}, who he plans to become his primary main barring significant balance patches and/or the release of [[Wolf]] [[DLC]]. He additionally used to competitively play ''Brawl'' pre-Smash 4, where he comained the unusual combination of {{SSBB|King Dedede}} and {{SSBB|Wolf}}, with an occasional {{SSBB|Snake}} secondary. He doesn't seriously play Melee, but will occasionally enter local Melee tournaments, where he will only use {{SSBM|Ganondorf}}.

He was additionally ranked 5th on the final [[New York Power Rankings]] for ''Brawl''.  

In Smash 4 with R.O.B., he heavily uses [[R.O.B. (SSB4)/Neutral aerial|neural aerial]] to control space, while always looking for opportunities to punish opponents with his grab to lead to R.O.B.'s powerful throw combos. With Charizard and Ganondorf, he focuses on a more aggressive style, staying in enemy range throwing out spaced tilts and aerials, while going for [[Dragon Rush]]es and [[Flame Choke]]s whenever he sees a remote opportunity to land them. And with all his characters, he favors going for high-risk-but-flashy kills whenever he sees an opportunity, such as using Ganondorf's [[Ganondorf (SSB4)/Up tilt|up tilt]] any chance he gets, His usage of Charizard and Ganondorf depends on the legality of customs however; he finds Charizard too limited without access to Dragon Rush, while finding Ganondorf completely unviable in default when his recovery is so poor without [[Dark Fists]] and [[Wizard's Dropkick]]. The inconsistent-at-best legality of customs was a major factor in his decision to pick up Zero Suit Samus.

Omega Tyrant initially mained {{SSB4|King Dedede}} in Smash 4, and used him with success for his first few Smash 4 tournies. However, while he enjoyed the direction Smash 4 Dedede took in his changes and found him to be a better designed character than his Brawl incarnation, he came to the conclusion Dedede was one of the worst characters in the game, with extremely limited mobility and frame data, while not having anywhere near the punish strength to make up for it. This feeling has only been reinforced with the passing of each balance patch that seemingly ignores Dedede. Omega Tyrant still enjoys playing Dedede for fun though, and has said he may pick him back up if a future patch seriously buffs him.

He attended a few tournaments in [[Tristate Area|NY/NJ]] and occasionally in New England with fellow Schenectady smasher {{Sm|No Skillz}}. While he usually didn't perform poorly in them, he was not able to place beyond a mid placing in the much stronger competition. He later attended [[Apex 2013]] with No Skillz, and in his bracket pool, he lost to {{Sm|Gunblade}}, then defeated {{Sm|Kiwi}} and another player, before being eliminating by {{Sm|Shadow}}, finishing 5th in his pool and failing to make bracket again. Apex 2013 was the last out-of-state tournament Omega Tyrant entered in Brawl, and his activity dropped off, only entering a few nearby Brawl tournies since.

Omega Tyrant fully reentered the scene upon the release of Smash 4, and immediately emerged as one of upstate New York's strongest Smash 4 players, winning money at each event he entered, and obtaining 1st on the first [https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B6soP2IIEAAMLIb.jpg:large New York capital region PR]. While he didn't attend New York tournies that frequently throughout the Winter and Spring of 2015, and rarely attended the local weeklies, he remained one of the strongest players when he did, leading to him getting 2nd in the second Capital Region PR, being only outranked by the recently emerged {{Sm|Dark Wizzy}}.

Around March 2013, Omega Tyrant started up a youtube channel, originally with the intention of being a place to upload his and other upstate New York players' tournament matches. However he started utilising his extensive knowledge of the Smash [[AI]] to create AI exploitation videos, the most famous of which was a Melee video of [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwDngBhmQXY beating every level nine CPU with Luigi by doing absolutely nothing], with the video going viral and garnering over 500,000 views. Some time after Smash 4's release, he [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFBnhaXql24 again replicated the feat] despite the game's advanced AI, and this video ended up becoming even more popular than the original Melee video.

*Omega Tyrant enjoys playing [[Brawl Minus]], vastly preferring it to the other mods of ''Brawl''. The primary reason for this is it being the only Brawl mod that feels like a different Smash game in his view, rather than being a patch or "Meleefied" Brawl.
