(→‎Marth Side B stall: new section)

So as you know in Melee, the first time you use Marth's Side B in the air, you stop your fall completely and get a bit of height, similar to Mario's cape. Subsequent uses of Side do not stop your fall but merely delay your descent and move your ECB forward. I have reason to believe that this property was removed in Brawl and Smash 4. My reasoning is as follows. Mario can still use a midair cape to gain height without jumping first, but Marth has to use his double jump and then immediately side B to get the float. Subsequent uses of side B do absolutely nothing so I would guess the float from side B comes from the momentum of the double jump. Can you confirm? --<span style="background-color:#6d84e1;border:3px solid silver"><span style="color:silver">Brian</span><span style="color:black">Don't try me!</span></span> 11:01, 27 March 2015 (EDT)

:I may not be Toomai, but I can definitely confirm that it was removed in Smash 4; that said, I don't know about Brawl.
