==Trivia==
* Although his nickname is Kirby Squad, most people refer to him as Dave (his real name), because his nickname is so awful. In 2008 he changed his nickname.
* He is considered to be one of the kindest smashers in the Netherlands and was voted 'most kind smasher' at the [[Dutch Smash Awards]].
* Next to playing games at professional level, he is also a Game Designer working for Mediamonks Games in Hilversum as Lead Sound Designer Music Composer.
