During his active time his peak placings were 1st in his states [[BW Power Rankings]] and tied for 6th in the [[German Melee Power Ranking]]. He actively stopped playing in 2010 and dropped out of the German Power Ranking. However as shown at Osmash in 2014 he is still able to place top 10 at german nationals. Being a former multi character main he switched to solo Fox in 2013, but is still able to play nearly any viable character at a decent level, mainly having a strong Marth and Sheik for counterpicks.

{{Sm|Yomi}} and Tero used to be considered one of the best teams in Germany after winning SFK2 in 2008, they were also considered a threat for a lot of european top teams taking out [[Ice]]/[[Pamaro]], [[Makenshi]]/[[JD]], [[Marc]]/[[Utto]] among others.  

==Tournament Director==

Together with {{Sm|Yomi}}, he hosted the European major [[Smash Royale]] in 2008, which earned the title ''"Best European Tournament 2008"''. Tero also co-hosted nearly every German national from 2007 onwards (for example [[SMASH ATTACK]] or the Osmash Series), usually taking the primary part in seeding players, creating brackets and enforcing people to play their matches so that the tournament can finish on time.

Tero was a member of the [[Smash Back Room]] for both ''Melee'' and ''Brawl'' on [[Smash World Forums]], administrator on [[German Smash Boards]], and a founding member of the streaming group [[Salty Playground]]. He was also responsible for most rule sets and power rankings in the german community. Notably he made the initiative to change the German standard for [[Dave's Stupid Rule]] and called it '''Tero's Smart Rule''' for fun. This version of modified DSR was later adapted in other European countries as well. Tero and fellow Melee players from Freiburg founded the organisation [[NoTech Gaming]] to improve the quality of their tournaments.

*Tero became infamous for timing out Swedish top player {{Sm|Pepito}} with Jigglypuff while still having 4 stocks left.
