Scizor, when summoned by a thrown [[Poké Ball]], uses Metal Claw as its attack. Scizor runs forward for a short moment, then jumps straight up and falls down, eventually off the bottom of the screen. Its role is similar to [[Hitmonlee]]'s in ''[[Super Smash Bros]]''; any character that makes contact with Scizor will take heavy damage. Scizor also forces characters to the top of the screen if they make contact with it. Scizor's attack does not harm the summoner.

When summoned, Scizor dashes forwards and jumps around, slashing multiple times with its claws. When finished, it makes a gestures and quickly flies away.

Scizor is a Bug/Steel-type Pokémon introduced in {{iw|bulbapedia|Generation II}}. It evolves from {{pkmn|Scyther}} when {{iw|bulbapedia|trade}}d while holding a {{iw|bulbapedia|Metal Coat}}. It also gained a {{iw|bulbapedia|Mega Evolution}} in {{iw|bulbapedia|Generation VI}}.

{{iw|bulbapedia|Metal Claw|move}} is a Steel-type move with 50 base power (which, in the world of [[Pokémon]], is of average strength), 95% accuracy and a 10% chance of raising the user's attack by one level. Scizor can learn it in every game.
