K.K. Slider is a special character who can be found in all of the ''Animal Crossing'' games since the original, performing on Saturday from 8:00 PM (or all day, albeit will not take any song requests until 6:00 PM in ''{{s|nookipedia|Animal Crossing: New Horizons}}'') to midnight at different locations depending on the game (such as the {{s|nookipedia|Train Station}}, {{s|nookipedia|The Roost}}, {{s|nookipedia|Club LOL}}, or {{s|nookipedia|Resident Services}}). If the [[Villager|player]] speaks to him, he will play them a song and then give them a CD that they can play via a stereo at their house. While in ''New Leaf'', he plays on any night under the guise of "DJ K.K." (who appears as a [[List of SSB4 trophies (Animal Crossing series)|trophy in ''SSB4'']]), ''Super Smash Bros.'' takes from his performances in other games and has him only show up on Saturday nights.

In ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'', K.K. Slider appears as a [[trophy]] with his guitar with the title "Totakeke", his Japanese name. As ''Animal Crossing'' had not yet been released in America at the time of ''Melee'''s release, his American trophy puts his home game as "Future Release".

''A wandering musician whose daily life is a bit of a mystery. He plays in front of the train station every Saturday night starting at 8:00 p.m.. Although K.K. Slider only plays from 8:00-Midnight on Saturday nights, K.K. Slider can be seen preparing for his performance earlier than 8. Additionally, while Animal Crossing Villagers usually pay full attention to the fight, if K.K. Slider is performing the villagers' attention will be focused on him instead.
