Lucario's white alt resembled Shiny Metagross due to them having similar color combinations (white color, golden claws, etc.). In addition, I saw similar edits in other alt articles, such as [[Alternate_costume_(SSBU)#Incineroar|Incineroar's orange outfit being similar to Infernape's color combinations]]. Well, I admit that it's a big of a stretch, though. I wished that Omega Toad just said something simply like "speculation" or "big of a stretch" instead of edit summaries like "5th color resembling Luigi". ::Well anyway, I do have a rep of jokingly making snarky remarks, though of course I mean well so apologies if you were upset. But the fact is Lucario resembling shiny Metagross is too big of a stretch as aside from them both being steel types, they have nothing in common (a bipedal wolf thing vs a metal 4-legged spider-like thingamajig). Alternate costumes need to be clear cut to be considered a reference, plus the debate about orange Incineroar was decided by concensus years ago after a long and heated debate. | |||
