1-on-1 self destructs in SSB4
I pretty thoroughly tested this in demo, and every KO in a 1-on-1 match was credited to the other player even if it was walking off the stage without getting hit in the first three seconds. If self destructs in this context are possible, I'd like to see video evidence of it. :I'll see if I can get a screenshot of the results screen; unlike the full game the demo lets you upload screenshots to Miiverse. Toomai Glittershine The Different 19:01, 29 September 2014 (EDT)
:Okay here's the deal - first I was apparently wrong about screenshots, the "you can't do this" block was just father in the process than I had tried.
:Second, it appears that in 1v1s, your SDs count as both SDs for yourself and KOs for your opponent. So in this one match where I SD'd twice and KO'd the CPU twice, the results went as follows:
::P1: 2 KOs, 2 SDs
::P2: 2 KOs, 2 Falls
:I'm having a hard time testing this for 3/4-player matches but I suspect the rules may be similar - counted as SDs as opposed to falls, but still credited to an opponent's KOs. ::This was what I meant; SDs in 1-on-1s always credited as KOs as well. Isn't that a change from the previous system? :::Yeah I'm pretty sure it's a change; the wording you used confused me. I'll improve it and put it back. Toomai Glittershine The Xanthic 21:30, 29 September 2014 (EDT)

Flashes
Normally, you'll se red and black flashes, If an attack is strong enough  to KO the foe. But sometimes, you see the flashes and the opponent is not KO'd, someteimes the flashes don't appear, but the opponent is KO'd by the blast line. What's the reason for that?  Mariofan13 (talk) 08:40, 2 April 2015 (EDT)
:The reason for the first case is because the opponent DIs out of the attack, leading to them not being KO'd; as for the second case, the attack was strong enough to KO the opponent, but not strong enough to trigger the red bolt. ::The red-black lightning cannot account for DI because it happens before DI is selected. So if you see it and you aren't KO'd, it's probably because you DI'd correctly, and if you are KO'd without seeing it, you probably DI'd wrong. I think it also doesn't account for ground bounces from onstage meteors. == KO quotes? ==

Just a personal suggestion, but think we should the lines that some say when characters get KO'd? (Eg. Pit: "I'm finished."; Corrin: "How...can this...?") Hylia&#39;s Eye (talk) 21:58, 15 December 2016 (EST)

:There are so few of these. Probably better to put it on the character pages...could be a trivia point. <span style="font-family:Monotype Corsiva;font-size:12pt"><span style="color:#083;text-shadow:0px 0px 3px #0b7">Serpent</span> <span style="color:#ed0;text-shadow:0px 0px 3px #fd0">King</span></span> 22:41, 15 December 2016 (EST)
:Huh. Well, I was reffering to those who actually do talk, even though there are few. Though I already posted it, so should I just move the page then? Hylia&#39;s Eye (talk) 23:14, 15 December 2016 (EST)
