But sometimes, you see the flashes and the opponent is not KO'd, someteimes the flashes don't appear, but the opponent is KO'd by the blast line. What's the reason for that? So if you see it and you aren't KO'd, it's probably because you DI'd correctly, and if you are KO'd without seeing it, you probably DI'd wrong. I think it also doesn't account for ground bounces from onstage meteors.
