Mr. Game & Watch (SSBU)/Neutral special
From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wikiJump to navigationJump to search
Pressing the special move button during frames 21-35 causes the move to loop back to frame 4, allowing it to be used in rapid succession. If the button is simply held throughout, it loops back on frame 36 instead. After 5 loops, either holding the button or pressing it at least 3 times allows the move to loop back on frame 54.
The food loses its hitbox earlier if it hits the ground.
|Final loop frame||54|
Differences for Kirby's Copy Ability
- The move has a shorter animation (56 frames → 54), instead possessing no interruptibility frames, allowing Kirby to fast fall, grab ledges, and activate a held Assist Trophy earlier after using it.
|Loop start frame||4|
|Minimum button presses for final loop||3|
|Speed multiplier when bouncing off wall||0.5|
|Flickering period after total lifetime or touching ground||30 frames|
|Horizontal speed multiplier by stick input||1.8 (forward)|
|Vertical speed multiplier by stick input||0.7 (forward)|
In addition to four possible food types, there are five possible trajectories for each food piece; both attributes are random and picked independently from each other. Each trajectory can be altered by tilting the control stick horizontally, using the general modifiers previously listed.
|Attribute||Type 1||Type 2||Type 3||Type 4||Type 5|
|Initial horizontal speed||0.6||0.6||0.5||0.5||0.5|
|Initial vertical speed||0.85||0.95||0.85||0.95||1.05|
- The food hitbox has a 10% trip chance that can never actually happen, due to its largely vertical launch angle.
