Notability is a quality defined for the purposes of this Wiki as any article about a smasher or crew that has a significant presence in competitive Smash Brothers. This is the exclusive standard and definition for whether a crew or smasher is notable. Some things that qualify a smasher or crew as notable:
- Has participated in an offline tournament that is run by standard tournament rules or a variation of, and has some level of regional or national recognition.
- Has organized an offline tournament that is run by standard tournament rules or a variation of, that has some level of regional or national recognition.
- Has contributed high-level content to recognized websites pertaining to Super Smash Brothers. This does not include forums or SmashWiki.
- Is a Smash Back Room member.
- Administrates at websites pertaining to Super Smash Brothers. This and the below guideline are meant to document individuals that may not be associated with competitive Smash Brothers but otherwise have influence and notoriety over the community.
- Can prove legitimate regional or national notoriety otherwise not covered by these guidelines.
