Wrath of the Reset Bomb is a slightly more dramatic remix of the piece of the same name from Kid Icarus: Uprising, which plays during chapter 12, "Wrath of the Reset Bomb", and serves as Viridi's character theme. On Reset Bomb Forest in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, it will play in time with the narrative of the stage, meaning when the game is paused, the song too is paused.

This piece of music, taken directly from Kid Icarus: Uprising, plays during the flight stage of Chapter 12, "Wrath of the Reset Bomb", and is Viridi's character theme. This version of the song, taken from the game's original soundtrack, includes the sound of the Reset Bomb's defeat. When used as background music for Smash Run in Smash 3DS, this track will play in its entirety for the duration of the mode, pausing when the game is paused, in a manner reminiscent of its use in the original game, in which the music was composed to match the length of the Flight Stages.

- Lasting for a little under five minutes each, Wrath of the Reset Bomb (Original) and Dark Pit are tied for the longest song in the base game of SSB4, and the longest songs in the 3DS version specifically. When DLC is counted, they are beaten by After Burner (∞ Climax Mix) in the Wii U version, which was in turn beaten by Advent: One-Winged Angel for longest song in the series.
- 3 songs from Kid Icarus: Uprising appear in Palutena's reveal trailer that don't appear in-game; those being Chaos Vortex, the original version of Destroyed Skyworld, and the opening theme from said game.
- However, the latter song is higher pitched in the trailer, mainly due to the way Boss Fight 1 transitions into said song.
